From 13 to 15 May 2026, UNIDO ITPO Italy participated in the 2026 edition of CodeWay Expo, the annual event by Fiera Roma bringing together the main stakeholders in Italy and at global level in the field of international cooperation to promote dialogue and develop synergies. Featuring its own institutional stand within the exhibition, at Codeway 2026 UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and moderated 3 conference sessions.

Held in the plenary conference with 80+ attendees, the session “Uganda: where Italian expertise meets African growth” was joined by high-level representatives from our project donor, local ministries, and private-sector success cases from both countries.

The conference “UNIDO-WTCA Global Call 2026: policy and innovation to unlock the Blue Economy” saw brilliant insights from sector ecosystems for 30+ attendees, and was followed by a session with 16+ young graduates to highlight UNIDO’s mandate.

Finally, the conference “From Linear to Circular: challenges and opportunities at the poles of the textile-apparel industry in Egypt and Ghana” was notably attended, beside 26 particiapnts, by H.E. the Ambassador of Ghana and representatives of the Embassy of Egypt to Italy, further strengthening institutional synergies.
